Belt curves, merges and diverts

A belt line rarely runs straight. Where product needs to change direction, join another flow or leave the line, these HD-BCV modules do it on the same frame, drives and controls as the straight belt conveyor — so the whole system stays one platform to install, operate and maintain.

Belt curves

HD-BCV belt curves carry cartons, totes and freight through a change of direction on a closed belt surface, so there is no transfer gap for product to catch on. A friction drive with belt guiding keeps tracking stable at full speed.

Full belt merge

The full belt merge brings a secondary line onto the main conveyor without a pusher or diverter. A nose-bar belt wrap keeps the transfer flat and continuous, so cartons and parcels join the flow at speed instead of stopping to be pushed.

Strip belt merge

The strip belt merge feeds cargo onto a line at an angle using a striped diagonal junction. Because the surface is built from independent strips, damage to one strip will not stop the module — a genuine uptime advantage in parcel and CEP operations. Paired with a belt deflector it diverts product out of the line as well.

Frequently asked questions

What can a belt conveyor handle that rollers cannot?

A continuous belt supports the whole base of a product, so it carries small, soft-bottomed, irregular or bagged items that would fall between rollers — polybags, sacks, loose parts and unstable cartons.

Can belt conveyors run on an incline?

Yes. Belt is the usual choice for incline and decline runs because the belt surface grips the load. Cleated and high-friction belts extend the workable angle.

Can you build curves and merges?

Yes. We manufacture belt curves, full belt merges and strip belt merges in-house, so a whole line can be built from matching modules rather than mixed suppliers.

How noisy are they?

Belt conveyors run quieter than driven roller because there is no roller-to-product contact and fewer moving parts in the load path.
