Chain or roller — which suits your pallets?

Chain driven

Drives the pallet’s bottom boards directly, so it handles timber and plastic pallets, IBCs and loads with uneven or damaged bases. The right choice for mixed or ageing pallet pools, and for in-feed and out-feed on palletisers and stretch wrappers.

Roller driven

Better where bases are flat and consistent — slave boards, plastic pallets or captive pallet pools. Runs quieter, and makes accumulation and zero-pressure buffering simpler to configure.

Transfers, turntables and lifts

Chain and roller sections combine with pop-up transfers, turntables and lift units to change direction, merge lines and feed machinery without manual handling. Most sites run chain through palletising and wrapping, then roller through accumulation and despatch.

Every module is designed and built at our Epping facility in Melbourne and installed across Australia. See the full conveyor range, or talk to us about integrating pallet handling with your fulfilment operation.

Frequently asked questions

How much weight can a pallet conveyor handle?

Our PCC Series carries up to 1,500 kg per pallet as standard, on a formed mild steel or aluminium chain profile mounted to a mild steel sub-frame. Heavier-duty builds are available on request.

Will it suit Australian Standard pallets?

Yes. The PCC Series is built to suit the Australian Standard pallet (1165 × 1165 × 150 mm) as standard. Euro, CHEP and custom footprints are all supported — chain centres are configurable from 500 mm to 1,100 mm.

How fast do pallet conveyors run?

Between 8 and 30 m/min depending on configuration, with variable speed drives available where throughput or gentle handling matters.

Can it integrate with our palletiser and stretch wrapper?

Yes. The series is designed for robotic palletising cells, stretch wrapping equipment and pallet DWS cubing machines, and is regularly used for machine in-feed and out-feed. Drives are SEW Euro Drive with NSK bearings as standard.

Where are your pallet conveyors made?

Designed and manufactured in Melbourne at our Epping facility, and installed across Australia.
