Frequently asked questions
Do gravity conveyors need power?
No. Product moves under gravity on a decline, or by manual push on a level run. There is no motor, no wiring and no energy cost.
What products suit gravity conveyor?
Cartons, totes and anything with a firm, flat base. Soft-bottomed or bagged items need a belt conveyor instead, as they sag between the rollers.
How much load can it take?
Capacity depends on roller gauge, pitch and frame width. We size the rollers to your heaviest carton rather than a generic rating — the datasheet lists standard options.
Can gravity sections join a powered line?
Yes. Gravity is often used for accumulation lanes, pick faces and despatch spurs feeding into or off a powered line.
